July 14, 2017- Kilgarvan Church & Kenmare Bay Hotel
It was a night out in Kenmare ten years ago that marked the beginning of Louise Lyne and Patrick Breen’s happily ever after. In December 2015, the pair jetted off to New York City and Louise waited with bated breath for Patrick to pop the question. “I was sure every day that it would happen, but the week passed, and we were back home and - nothing! The following weekend I was taken to Cork for a night away. We headed into the city first for lunch and on our way to lunch he stopped me outside Keanes jewellers and asked the important question. I then spent two hours trying to pick a ring,” Louise recalls fondly. A wedding date was set for July 14, 2017 with a ceremony at Kilgarvan Church followed by a reception at the beautiful Kenmare Bay Hotel. Joining the bride at the alter were Christine Casey, Keely Randles, Niamh Breen and Sarah O’Donoghue. The grooms gang was made up of David Breen, Cathal O’Sullivan, Patrick O’Dwyer, Darragh O’Sullivan and Paddy and Stephen Delaney. The celebrations were kicked off with a drink at O'Connors bar followed by beautiful reception at Kenmare Bay Hotel.

“Patrick sent me a present on the morning of the wedding. A big Brown Thomas bag landed to me and inside was amazing Chloé bag. We also had a sweet table, a DIY photo booth and signs made by my best friend Keara. I also walked across the road from my house to the church with my dad which was a lovely memory. Patrick’s favourite memory would be walking out of the church to all his friends with the hurls. He was really shocked and so happy they did that for him,” the bride said.
