Grainne Seoige flies in from South Africa to surprise fashion designer Don O’Neill at Kerry Awards

TV presenter, turned entrepreneur Grainne Seoige, flew 6,000 miles to surprise Kerry award winning fashion designer Don O’Neill and his husband Pascal Guillermie with the Editor’s Wedding Choice Awards at the prestigious Brides of Kerry Wedding Industry Awards on Sunday evening, February 25th.

Seoige, who now runs Grace Diamonds with her South African born fiance Leon Jordaan, is good friends with the New York based couple, and jumped at the chance to present the award when asked by April Drew of Brides of Kerry magazine.
O’Neill and Guillermie, who are based out of New York, were absolutely astounded and very emotional to see Seoige enter the room. The couple were totally blown away with the surprise and later said it meant the world to them to have their dear friend come all the way across the world to do them this honour. The Ballyheigue native and his French husband graced the front cover of Irish LGBT Wedding magazine after their spectacular wedding in 2016 and also featured in Brides of Kerry, both owned and operated by April Drew of Drew Media.

The couple tied the knot at Ballyheigue Castle joined by some well- known faces, including Grainne and her sister Sile.
Don, who has dressed some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey, was blown away by the night.  Pascal and Don wore their wedding suits, which were custom made by the designer, to the awards. The event, which took place at Ballyroe Heights Hotel in Tralee, was attended by 250 people in the wedding industry in Kerry and was a resounding success. Guests were also treated to a surprise performance by the Mini Puppet Popstars of Ireland’s Got Talent fame and Don and Pascal were serenaded by Contralto Grace Foley.
